Der Stora Sjöfallets Nationalpark
Jokkmokk eine Stadt in hohen Norden und ein bedeutendes Kulturzentrum in der Region ist für unsere Touren immer wieder ein schöner Ausgangspunkt. Der Arctic Camp Jokkmokk liegt gleich neben einem großen See. Aus unserer Erfahrung hat diese Region im Herbst meist immer gutes Wetter, selbst wenn es ringsherum regnet.
Jokkmokk, a city in the far north and an important cultural centre in the region, is always a nice starting point for our tours. Arctic Camp Jokkmokk is located next to a large lake. From our experience, this region usually has good weather in autumn, even if it rains all around.
Wir sind meistens im September mit unserer Karawane hier und es war fast niemand hier auf dem Campingplatz. Dies ist sehr angenehm, wenn Sie mit Ihrem Hund unterwegs sind. Wir wurden, wie überall in Schweden, sehr freundlich begrüßt, und auch der Checkout verlief reibungslos. Zu dieser Jahreszeit treffen wir meist einige Deutsche, die genau wie wir ticken.
Das Lager ist wirklich fantastisch und es gibt auch ein eigenes Servicehaus mit Toiletten, Duschen, Entleerungsstation für die Chemietoilette direkt an den Stellplätzen für die Caravans und Wohnmobile. Nach der Saison gibt es viel Platz.
We are mostly here in September with our caravan and it was almost nobody here on the campsite. This is very pleasant when you are on the road with your dog. We were greeted very friendly, as everywhere in Sweden, and also the check out went smoothly. At this time of the year we mostly meet some Germans who are ticking just like us.
The camp is really fantastic and there is also its own service house with toilets, showers, emptying station for the chemical toilet directly at the places for the caravans and camper vans. There is plenty of space after the season.

Auf dem Weg von Jokkmokk in Richtung Norden bei Porjus verschwindet eine kleine Asphaltstraße auf der linken Seite und verliert sich in der Wildnis. Der Eingang zum Stora Sjöfallets Nationalpark. Für einen Tagesausflug fast zu weit und zu groß, aber das Wetter ist ideal und so geht es in den Park. Wohl wissend, dass wir heute hier nur eine kleine Momentaufnahme sehen. Ohne die Tafel am Straßenrand würden die meisten Touristen vorbei fahren.

Bei gutem Wetter kann man das Akka-Massiv mit seinen weißen schneebedeckten Gipfeln von der Straße 45 sehen. Ein beeindruckender Anblick, der einem das Herz höher schlagen lässt.

Wie es der Name auf dem Helikopter schon sagt, Fiskflyg kann man sich von hier aus irgendwohin in die Wildnis bringen und auch wieder abholen lassen. Ein nicht ganz so preiswertes Unterfangen, da bleibe ich lieber bei meinem Auto oder man teilt sich die Kosten für einen Hubschrauberrundflug,
As the name on the helicopter already says Fiskflyg, you can take yourself somewhere in the wilderness from here and be picked up again. A not quite so cheap undertaking, I prefer to stay with my car or you share the costs for a helicopter flight.

Sie wird von den Sami verehrt. Demnach ist Áhkká, der samische Name, eine Göttin, die für all die Weisheit und Schönheit der Welt steht. Es ist Schwedens achtthöchster Berg. Der höchste Punkt ist der Stortoppen mit 2016 Metern über dem Meeresspiegel.
The two peaks of the Akka massif rise majestically into the Swedish sky. In the sun the deep blue water at their feet - it is an impressive picture of the "Queen of Lapland". She is worshipped by the Sami. According to this, Áhkká, the Sami name, is a goddess who stands for all the wisdom and beauty in the world. It is Sweden's eighth highest mountain. The highest point is the Stortoppen with 2016 meters above sea level.
Eine Doppelspitze bildet die Krone des Akka-Massivs. Vom Fuße des Akkajaure bis zum Gipfel des Berges werden 1.563 Höhenmeter überwunden. Es soll der größte Höhenunterschied sein, der in Schweden gemessen werden kann.
A double tip forms the crown of the Akka. From the foot of the Akkajaure to the top of the mountain, 1,563 meters of altitude difference are climbed. It is the largest difference in altitude that can be measured in Sweden.

Entlang der Straße wird man immer wieder daran erinnert, dass wir in einer technisierten Welt leben, die energiehungriger denn je ist. Entlang der Straße stehen große Strommasten. Durch die aufgestauten Seen wird durch Wasserkraftwerke Strom erzeugt.
Along the road we are reminded time and again that we live in a technological world that is more energy-hungry than ever. Along the road there are large electricity pylons. Dammed lakes generate electricity from hydroelectric power stations.
Someday I don't want to sit in the car anymore. I stop and enjoy this beautiful nature. Until the end of the road to Ritsem I don't need. I go to the water to drink a sip from it. There would be only the way back to Jokkmokk...
